Roger Peters, PhD, was presented a Fulbright Medal by President Genshaft and Provost Wilcox on November 13th at the Global Achievement Awards Breakfast, hosted by USF World. The medal was awarded for his Fulbright Specialist grant, which supported collaborative work this past June with the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.

 The School of Social Work sent their Fall 2015 newsletter to approximately 2700 alumni on Friday, November 13th. The 12-page document provides updates on the School's programs as well as current highlights of faculty, students and alumni. The PDF version of the newsletter can be downloaded here.

Stephen Roggenbaum, assistant in research for the USF Department of Child and Family Studies, said suicides are low-frequency occurrences with "high-impact events."
