CBCS Employee Recognition Award Program (RAP) Nominations Being Accepted

The CBCS Employee Recognition Award Program (RAP) recognizes Administrative, Staff and Temporary personnel employees with at least one year of service, and a performance rating of satisfactory, for their outstanding contributions/achievements. Nominations will be accepted beginning March 20th through the deadline date of March 31st. Two recipients will each receive an award of $750.00. More information about the program and nomination forms can be found here. Completed nomination packages should be sent directly to Regina L. Brown at MHC 1133 or via email to rlbrown@usf.edu by April 3rd. Judging will be conducted the week of 4/10/17 and the recipients will be announced at the Faculty Spring Assembly on April 28th, 2017.

She is currently an assistant professor of mental health law and policy at the University of South Florida, where her research examines cultural adaptations to evidence-based treatments for mental health and wellness.

 

Coordinating services for a vulnerable population

The process - which identified resources, gaps in service, opportunities within existing systems and "interception points" for reaching the targeted population - was led by Mark Engelhardt of the Criminal Justice, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Technical Assistance Center at the University of South Florida, which has assisted 26 other counties in Florida with a similar coordination process.
