CARD Conference Celebrates 25 Years
Nearly 800 participants were able to choose from a variety of speakers and activities, including a Pre-Conference Day for Educators. This years' theme, "Next 25 Years: The New Frontier," was based on the Star Wars series, complete with visits from the series characters.

Our college is committed to advancing well-being through an emphasis on community science and effective systems and policies with a variety of external partnerships.  Now we are taking steps to create a culture of wellness and health within our place of work.
 
Our purpose: to create an environment that will promote employee well-being, engage employees in planning for and participation in activities that support physical and mental wellness.

Connect Your Students with Mental Health Resources on Campus And Online

ONLINE RESOURCES:
  • Therapy Assisted Online
     
    TAO is an online platform that provides students modules to build management skills for stress, anxiety, and depression 24/7.  It is confidential, convenient, and open to all students.
  • Online Screening 
    USF offers an anonymous online screening tool for students to determine their mental health status and referrals to appropriate on-campus resources.
 
ON CAMPUS:
  • Success and Wellness Coaching 
    Success and Wellness Coaching is a free resource that allows you to explore and gain awareness of your ability to live the life you want to live. Success and Wellness Coaching takes a present-focused, positive, and strengths-based approach to mental health promotion and holistic wellness.
  • Counseling Services 
    The Counseling Center offers group, individual, and couples confidential counseling to students free of charge.  They also offer drop-in groups and events for students seeking help on different mental health topics.  Students can schedule appointments over the phone (813-974-2831) or in person at SVC 2124. Nominations Now Accepted for The 2017 Outstanding Staff Awards
It's time to nominate deserving Staff and Administration employees for USF's 2017 Outstanding Staff Awards, which will be presented on Friday, March 23, 2018.  Candidates are individuals who have demonstrated "above and beyond" performance excellence. This prestigious award is granted to a limited number of employees each year and is a distinctive honor.  You will find detailed information on the  Outstanding Staff Awards website.
 
  • The nomination period is currently open. Nominations must be completed by close of business day on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
  • The online nomination forms will be routed directly to the Division of Human Resources (DHR).
  • Nomination forms, eligibility criteria and instructions are available on the Outstanding Staff Awards website.
 
Additional information regarding the awards ceremony will be available in the weeks to come.  Please take this opportunity to help us recognize and celebrate EXCELLENCE by nominating a deserving colleague.
