Congratulations to Dr. Guitele Rahill
Congratulations to Dr. Guitele Rahill who received notification that a film on which she served as Consultant/Discussant, and her daughter Kirah Zoellner served as discussant during 2013 - 2014, has been accepted for screening at the APA Film Festival, August 9-12, 2018, during the annual convention in San Francisco, California. The American Psychological Association received a record, 2,721 entries and Culture Clash was among only 23 films that were selected for screening.  Culture Clash comprises dialogues in United States Caribbean Communities regarding immigration and its impact on second generation immigrants. CULTURE CLASH filled with riveting interviews of second-generation Caribbean immigrants and the challenges they face in holding to their family heritage while embracing American culture.

Feature Freshmen
Meet Kaleigh Hanley. She will be joining us this upcoming Fall and we are so excited to have her!

"Hi! I'm Kaleigh Hanley and I'm an 18 year old from Royal Palm Beach, FL. I am majoring in Long Term Care Administration. I decided to attend USF's class of 2022 based on the location, the major and the graduation rate. I'm super excited to start at USF this fall - to finally be on my own and to meet new people interested in the same things I am! I have been working in a senior living home for two and a half years now, and it has helped shape me into the person I am today. Helping people, especially the senior population, is my passion and I wouldn't want to pursue any other career at any other school."
