COVID-19 Update
Dean Serovich sent out a video via email with an update this morning. Please take the time to view the video.

CSD hosted its first remote faculty meeting on March 23rd. Fifty faculty and staff met remotely using Microsoft Teams. The faculty are planning instruction, ensuring clinical care, continuing research, and making sure the mission of the department goes on!

CBCS Employee Recognition Award Program (RAP) Nomination Deadline Approaching

The CBCS Employee Recognition Award Program (RAP) recognizes Administrative, Staff and OPS/Temporary personnel employees with at least one year of service, and a performance rating of satisfactory, for their outstanding contributions/achievements. Nominations will be accepted beginning February 26th through the deadline date of March 20th. Two recipients will each receive an award of $750.00. More information about the program and nomination forms can be found here. Completed nomination packages should be sent directly to Wendy Stoneman-Shelby at MHC 1133 or via email to wendys1@usf.edu

Deadline for Nominations for the CBCS Student Employee of the Year Award Approaching

Supervisors may nominate student employees whom they feel warrant particular recognition for their performance on the job. In order to be eligible for consideration, student employees must have worked a minimum of six months part-time (or three months full-time), during the selection period of this year which is June 2019 - May 2020 Nominees are not restricted to students employed through the Federal Work Study program. All student employees in the USF system, both undergraduate and graduate students, are eligible for consideration. Nominations will be judged on the following characteristics: reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and the uniqueness of the student's contribution to the employer. The CBCS Student Employee Week Planning Committee will select 2 recipients of the award - one FWSP or student assistant AND one graduate assistant. the official nomination form can be downloaded here.

Deadline for submissions is March 20, 2020 at 5:00pm.
