usf launches human trafficking research lab
The official launch of the TIP Lab was amazing! Over 70 people were in attendance including state and local elected officials, state and local government representatives, law enforcement, members of the judiciary, and victim service providers from across the Tampa Bay region. USF leadership was there also – Provost Wilcox, Howard Goldstein, Jen Lister, Dwayne Smith, and Martin Tadlock. Joan Reid, PhD, Director of the TIP Lab was interviewed by the media about human trafficking and the new lab.
 
Littlewood Selected for Research Affiliates Program
kerry littlewoodDr. Kerry Littlewood was recently selected for the research affiliates program with the Center for Applied Research on Vulnerable Children and Families. This is a large international faith-based organization. The new research program will help network and disseminate her work to broader audiences.

Dr. Littlewood also had two abstracts accepted for the Kempe's 2021 Call to Action to Change Child Welfare conference in October 2021:
  • Utilizing Culturally Responsive Equitable Evaluation Approaches for Kinship Centered Design of UWCA on October 5th at 11:30 AM (Mountain Time)
  • The Grandfamilies' Outcome Workgroup's National Study of Grandfamilies During Covid-19: Wave 2 Findings…, Wednesday, October 6 from 11:30 AM – 12:45 PM, Mountain
